Terms and Conditions for Certified-Hard Fitness Classes
Welcome to Certified-Hard Fitness! By signing up and participating in our fitness classes, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Definitions
- Combat Cardio. A moniker describing a fitness class that involves high-intensity workouts with a focus on teaching kickboxing, self-defense and cardio techniques.
- Fitness Class. A systematic group activity designed to engage in physical activity.
- Participant: Any individual who attends or assists in a scheduled fitness class.
- Student: Any individual who actively engages in a scheduled fitness class.
- Paying Entity: Any organization or individual remitting payment on behalf of a participant or student.
- Individual Class: A single class purchased by a student or paying entity.
- Monthly Member: A student or paying entity who subscribes to monthly access to engage in fitness classes for that month.
- Warm-Up Session: The designated period of time, usually the first 10 to 15 minutes of a scheduled fitness class, dedicated to conducting pre-workout routines considered to be “warm-up” exercises.
- Attendance: A student is considered “attended” once they complete the warm-up portion of the class and engage in the fitness class.
Class Policies
- Class Size and Duration:
- Each class is limited to 20 participants or the maximum number the facility can safely accommodate, not exceeding 20.
- Classes will start at the scheduled time and may extend to 5 minutes beyond the prescribed duration.
- Minimum Attendance:
- Students that show up after the scheduled start time but before the completion of the scheduled warm-up time, are considered late but may still participate in the designated fitness class with no penalty.
- Students that show up after the completion of the scheduled fitness class are considered late and if a decision is made to engage in the remainder of the fitness class, they will be responsible for the full payment for that fitness class.
- A minimum of two (2) students is required to complete a fitness class from start to finish (in-person or virtually). In the event only one (1) student is present for a fitness class, the warm-up will still commence (approximately 10 – 15 minutes in duration) and at the conclusion of the warm-up, if no additional students are present, the respective classes will be canceled and announced immediately via all available communicational means.
- The one (1) student that showed for the respective class will receive full credit towards their account for one (1) class and/or the paying entity will not be billed for the warm-up, only the monthly service charge minimum (see pricing if Corporate Group Fitness).
- Cancellations:
- Students may cancel their participation without penalty before completing the warm-up portion of the class. If canceled after the warm-up, the full class fee will be charged.
- Payments:
- Payments must be made prior to the workout portion of the class. Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards, PayPal, or invoice.
- Monthly members will receive invoices on the 5th of each month for the previous month’s attendance.
- Students are considered delinquent if payment is not received after attending one full class or the first session of the new month for monthly members. Delinquent students will be denied further attendance until payment is resolved.
- Guest Policy:
- Regular paying students (individual or monthly members) receive one complimentary guest pass per month. Guests must comply with all terms and conditions.
Health and Safety
- COVID-19 Measures:
- All students must adhere to CDC, state, and establishment policies regarding COVID-19 mitigation measures.
- Masks may be required based on local regulations. Social distancing will be maintained during classes, and mask-wearing may be relaxed during physical activity unless otherwise mandated.
- Instructors may adjust workout intensity to accommodate respiratory needs if masks are required during exercise.
- Sanitization:
- All workout equipment is sanitized with aerosol anti-bacterial agents at least 30 minutes prior to use and soaked in FDA-approved non-toxic chemicals post-workout.
